Director Statement

Within most of my work I focus on manipulating audience emotion through contrasts or connections in imagery and sound; using image systems to subliminally create correlations, invoking waves of emotion and realization in the audience.

I tend to start the audience in the middle of a situation. Providing subtle clues in the image systems and sound causes the audience to work out the before and after of the situation subconsciously. I do this to avoid a passive experience when watching, treating the audience as scientists that have to put the correlations together.
